Automotive News - IPCW aftermarket taillights manufacturer sued for defective L.E.D. taillights and illegal conduct.
A lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Sept. 4, 2008 (case no. BC394618) alleging defective aftermarket L.E.D. taillights and illegal conduct by In.Pro Car Wear, Inc. of Commerce CA. The lawsuit alleges that over 40% of the L.E.D. taillights shipped by In.Pro Car Wear, Inc. were either defective in the box or defective within three months of installation. The cross-complaint lawsuit was filed by Lightlens.com in response to a slander/libel lawsuit filed by In.Pro Car Wear, Inc. after Lightlens.com published the allegations of defective L.E.D. taillights on it's web site. Lightlens.com states the allegations of defective L.E.D. taillights manufactured by In.Pro Car Wear, Inc. are based on a conclusive customer satisfaction survey. |
